About me

shyan

Hi! I am Shyan, a passionate instructor with a love for technology. For the past nine months, I’ve been teaching 3D printing and robotics at various community centers and afterschool programs. I work with kids of all age ranges, helping them develop skills in design modeling and problem-solving.

I believe that fostering curiosity and creativity at a young age is essential, and I’m dedicated to making technology accessible and fun for young learners. My goal is to provide students with practical knowledge that empowers them to bring their ideas to life.

My Teaching Environment

The lab I teach in is equipped with state-of-the-art tools to encourage exploration and problem-solving. We have four MK3 Prusa 3D printers, allowing students to create custom models and prototypes. Additionally, we use an Epilog FusionMaker laser cutter, which adds a whole new dimension to our projects by letting students work with precision cutting and engraving on various materials.

Our space encourages collaboration, experimentation, and hands-on learning, giving students the opportunity to explore their interests in technology while learning skills that will serve them in future STEM careers.
