About me

My name is Bernd Maaßen, and I am a teacher at a comprehensive school in Wesel, Germany, where I teach Physics and Technology. Our school has a fantastic School Fab Lab that plays a key role in how we approach learning. I’m passionate about Maker Education, which is why I work a lot with my students on project-based learning, encouraging them to explore and create through hands-on experiences.

My background

Besides teaching, I’m also involved in teacher training and offer professional development in Maker Education for other educators. My main areas of focus in this field are laser cutting, 3D printing, vinyl cutting, and programming.
