The project¶
I desided to go for the concept of multiplication as a process of grouping and repeated addition, designed specifically for autistic 11-year-olds who find math challenging.
I designed blocks with numbers and matching points, which can be used as a tool to add identical numbers to better understand multiplication. The idea is to set the example above with a whitebord marker and then add the corresponding number of cubes and leaks together or count the points and finally write the answer above.
