About me

✏ Edit this page

Hi, I am based in Nanning, the “Green City” of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China. For a decade, I have operated two educational organizations that deliver outdoor camp education and youth robotics & STEM maker programs for learners aged 4 to 15. Outdoor exploration and maker education share a core philosophy: engaging young people to solve meaningful challenges through hands-on creation within real-world contexts. It is this mindset that inspired me to join Fab Academy 2026.

My background

My career began in creative industries spanning advertising, large-scale live events and media content. Since 2017, I’ve founded a children’s outdoor camp education organization and a youth robotics & coding institution. Adopting learning through play, learning by doing, experiential learning, facilitative teaching, PBL and SEL, I keep exploring innovative educational philosophies and curriculum content.

Digital Fabrication Experience

We host an in-house youth makerspace and woodworking lab, stocked with hand tools, 3D printers, laser cutters, and woodworking power equipment. We have piloted introductory maker activities, though our curriculum is not yet fully structured. Our lab faces several key constraints: limited digital fabrication integration, narrow course offerings, a small audience base, underutilized machinery, and a lack of trained local makers.

Through Fab Academy’s global digital fabrication curriculum, I seek to master the full production pipeline: digital modeling, CAM preparation, laser cutting, 3D printing, and CNC machining. I aim to develop original digital fabrication curricula, weave maker workflows into outdoor camp and STEM programming, connect with the worldwide Fab educator network, and exchange resources and practice with peers across the globe.
